The Entertaiment Industry
Entertaiment — whether it’s a clown at a birthday party, a Broadway show, a stadium rock concert, or friends fighting over the last potato chip — gives us something to do with our time. It also provides distraction, amusement, and sometimes even a way to escape the mundane. It’s no wonder that entertainment has become an industry.
